On June 13th AI4growth organised the first AI Session. The Health & Medical themed session knew a turnout of +100 AI-minded attendees.
The evening set off with Tijl De Bie’s overview of the European AI-landscape, followed by Hendrik Baudrez’ update on the Flemish AI impulse programma.
Three enthralling AI use cases were presented. First Frederik Toune demo’ed Demetra, Barco’s platform for skin imaging, aiming to improve the diagnosis of skin disease.
Next up, Jonathan Berte shed some light on Robovision’s collaboration with The National Institutes of Health: Automated organ detection through deep learning.
And lastly Vincent Keereman explained how Epilog transforms EEG diagnostics and interpretation.
