TUE 28 January - 3Square Ghent

The fourth edition of our ongoing AISession format was another success.
We had the pleasure of welcoming 120+ attendees at 3Square Ghent for an evening of Retail, B2C and Consumer Experience inspired AI talks and networking.

After a warm welcome and a walking dinner, BrainJar kicked off the night with a tech intro on Bridging the linguistic gap between human and machines.

Then 5 applied AI cases in Retail, B2C and Consumer Experience were presented.

  • Sentiance’s Vincent Spruyt showed us how AI uses behavioral science to hyper-personalize your supermarket experience.

  • Robovision’s Hendrik D’Oosterlinck gives us an overview of the hurdles they faced while implementing the Colruyt fruit & vegetables recognition project.

  • Crunch Analytics’s Laurent Mainil presented the solution they’ve built with Beerwulf for AI-driven replenishment.

  • AI can drastically improve your sales & marketing. Sven Arnauts from delaware.ai explained how AI can turn marketing into science.

  • UGent’s Prof. Dr. Dirk Van den Poel how AI lets us optimize fleet scheduling even more.

These use cases were followed by three poster presentations: 2-minute elevator-pitch presentations by The ML2Grow, BrainJar and Ghent University/Hello Customer on retail and consumer experience innovations. The presenters elaborated further on these cases during network time after the ensuing Q&A round.
